Our client seeks a Lead Agilist to coach and enable Agile Squads to deliver business value using Scrum and complementary Agile practices. The Lead Agilist will facilitate Scrum events, foster a trusting and collaborative environment, and guide teams and Product Owners in backlog management, empirical decision-making, and continuous improvement. The role requires coaching skills, clear communication, and the ability to remove impediments and support high-performing, self-organizing teams.

Responsibilities:- Coach Agile Squads and Product Owners on Scrum values, principles, and effective backlog management.
- Facilitate Scrum events and ensure teams realize value from Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement.
- Promote self-organization, continuous improvement, cross-functionality, and software craftsmanship.
- Use observation and data to identify team needs and drive inspect-and-adapt practices with metrics and feedback loops.
- Remove or escalate impediments and shield teams from external interference.
- Foster a trusting, safe environment for collaborative problem solving and learning.
- Facilitate communication and coordination within and across squads and with the Agile Center.
- Model servant leadership and agile mindset shifts while encouraging innovative thinking and growth.
- Support risk identification, assessment, and reporting in alignment with organizational policies.
- 5+ years of full-time business experience.
- 3+ years of Scrum experience.
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Experience presenting, teaching, mentoring, and facilitating at multiple organizational levels.
- Ability to communicate and remove impediments outside of the team.
- Coaching skills with the ability to convey complex messages and teach new concepts.
- Conflict resolution and mediation capabilities.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle disciplines.
- Working knowledge of practices that support agility, including CI/CD and automated testing.
- Working knowledge of other Agile frameworks and practices such as Kanban, Scrumban, XP, and Mob programming.
- Ability to apply multiple approaches to remove impediments and improve team effectiveness.
- Demonstrated leadership by example and commitment to continuous learning.
- Bachelor's in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
