From there, you’ll measure, cut, fit, and prep materials before laying down clean, consistent beads. Each component you fabricate, assemble, or repair moves from raw stock to a finished part that meets strict quality and safety expectations.

A day in the life

• Start with prints: read and interpret drawings and work orders to understand dimensions, joints, and sequencing.
• Prep the job: accurately measure, mark, cut, and stage materials for welding and fit-up.
• Weld with versatility: perform MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core welding as required by material, position, and spec.
• Build it right: fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components to tolerance.
• Verify quality: inspect finished welds and assemblies for accuracy, appearance, and structural integrity.
• Work safely and cleanly: follow safety procedures, use PPE, and keep the work area organized.

What you bring

• Previous welding experience preferred, with hands-on familiarity using MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core.
• Skill reading blueprints and the ability to use measuring and layout tools confidently.
• Strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to workplace safety.
• Welding certifications are a plus.
