About the Role:

As a Healthcare Facilities Maintenance Assistant at Bayshore Nursing & Rehab, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our state-of-the-art facilities. In this part-time position, you will work closely with our maintenance team to ensure our patients, residents, and staff have a safe and comfortable environment to thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Clean and disinfect patient and resident areas, common spaces, and equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment
• Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and replacing air filters
• Assist with Custodial Services: Assist with custodial services, including but not limited to, vacuuming, dusting, and taking out trash and recyclables
• Support Special Events: Assist with special events and activities, including setup and cleanup
• Collaborate with Maintenance Team: Work closely with the maintenance team to identify and report any maintenance issues or concerns

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a healthcare or custodial setting preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
