Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate is a self-motivated HVAC professional who enjoys solving complex mechanical and controls issues. They are comfortable working independently in commercial facilities and have a solid understanding of both HVAC equipment and modern BAS/DDC technologies to improve system reliability and energy efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems, including:
  • Air handling units (AHUs)
  • Chillers
  • Boilers
  • Troubleshoot HVAC electrical and control systems.
  • Install, program, and service BAS/DDC control systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
  • Calibrate sensors, actuators, and control devices.
  • Analyze HVAC system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and sequence of operations.
  • Respond to emergency service calls.
  • Document service work and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations.
  • Follow all OSHA safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
  • Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS/DDC).
  • Ability to troubleshoot HVAC controls and communication networks.
  • Experience with one or more BAS platforms such as:

Johnson Controls Metasys

Siemens Desigo

Trane Technologies Tracer

Honeywell Honeywell

Schneider Electric EcoStruxure

  • EPA Universal Certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work from ladders, rooftops, and mechanical rooms.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HVAC trade school or technical degree.
  • Journeyman HVAC license (where applicable).
  • Experience commissioning or retro-commissioning BAS systems.
  • Knowledge of energy management and building optimization.
