Automotive Parts Manager / Director Experience Required
An established dealership group in Nassau County is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Director to lead Parts operations across two of their locations.
This is a high-level opportunity for a proven dealership Parts leader who understands that a strong department goes beyond inventory management. We’re looking for someone who is data-driven, inventory-savvy, and focused on team development and profitability while maintaining strong support for Service and customers.
You will oversee two established import Parts Departments with the authority to evaluate operations, improve processes, develop teams, and drive continued growth.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee Parts operations across two import dealerships
- Lead, coach, and develop Parts Managers and department teams
- Drive Parts sales, gross profit, productivity, and overall department performance
- Manage inventory levels, turns, aging, and obsolescence
- Develop retail, wholesale, and internal Parts business
- Monitor departmental financials, expenses, and key performance metrics
- Partner with Service leadership to ensure strong Parts availability and support technician productivity
- Maintain manufacturer standards, programs, and compliance
Requirements:
- Automotive dealership Parts management experience is required
- Import dealership experience is preferred but not required
- Proven track record of improving Parts Department sales and profitability
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, obsolescence control, purchasing, and wholesale operations
- Experience managing departmental financials, budgets, and performance metrics
- Strong leadership and team-development skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Working knowledge of dealership DMS and Parts inventory systems
