We are seeking a Safety Manager to join our Midland team. In this role, you will provide experienced-level support in the development, implementation, and oversight of safety programs across multiple job sites. You will conduct site audits, facilitate safety training, lead incident investigations, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company safety standards.

Essential Job Functions

  • Review jobsite compliance with company safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct walkthrough inspections and safety audits at project sites with project personnel
  • Assist in coordinating employee medical treatment and workers' compensation programs
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and coordinate with insurance providers
  • Communicate lessons learned from near misses, incidents, accidents, and injuries
  • Conduct safety training programs for employees and project teams
  • Provide technical safety guidance and support to Project Managers and Superintendents
  • Recommend modifications to safety policies and procedures to reduce risk and prevent incidents
  • Review project sites to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and other regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and evaluate subcontractor safety performance
  • Assist with safety meetings, presentations, and training for employees and subcontractors
  • Track and analyze safety performance trends, including near misses, first aid cases, incidents, accidents, and recordable injuries
  • Lead or support incident investigations and corrective action planning
  • Foster a culture of safety by promoting best practices and ensuring compliance with state, federal, local, and contractual safety requirements
  • Collaborate with operational leadership to drive continuous improvement in safety performance
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred
  • Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification preferred
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and determining corrective actions
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 construction safety standards
  • Experience implementing and managing construction safety programs
