Brentwood by the Bay Assisted Living is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced Cook to join our team on a part-time/per diem basis. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with seniors and takes pride in preparing quality meals in a warm, resident-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve nutritious, appealing meals for residents

• Follow menus, portion guidelines, and dietary restrictions

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen

• Assist with food ordering, storage, and inventory as needed

• Work collaboratively with nursing and dining staff

• Ensure a positive dining experience for residents

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience preferred, healthcare or assisted living experience a plus

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

• Friendly and professional demeanor

• Flexible availability for weekdays, weekends, and holiday coverage as needed
