Busser

About the Role:
Barbarian in Stowe, VT is looking for an energetic and motivated Busser to join our team! You'll play a key role in keeping our dining room running smoothly and ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience. If you love a fast-paced environment and take pride in great hospitality, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain dining room flow
• Assist servers by refilling water, supplying the correct plates and utensils, and supporting table needs
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room, including sweeping floors and wiping down surfaces
• Remove dirty dishes, glassware, and linens and transport to the kitchen
• Restock service stations with supplies such as napkins, utensils, and condiments
• Communicate with front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure seamless service
• Assist with opening and closing side work duties as assigned such as polishing glasses and silverware and brewing coffee

Requirements:

• Previous bussing, food service, or hospitality experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays or tubs for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
