Position Summary
Fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests, owners, vendors, and coworkers. Offering comprehensive guest and front desk services at Bear Creek Lodge, which encompasses tasks such as guest check-in and check-out, phone handling, computer operations, and providing recommendations for activities and dining options within the Telluride/Mountain Village area.
Hiring for Summer 2026. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Offering comprehensive guest and front desk services at Bear Creek Lodge, which encompasses tasks such as guest check-in and check-out, phone handling, computer operations, and providing recommendations for activities and dining options within the Telluride/Mountain Village area.

Essential Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of guest pre-arrival, check-in, stay, and departure.
- Efficiently address and resolve guest service requests and property issues through diligent work order management and follow-up.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the property, including basic troubleshooting for Wi-Fi routers, televisions, appliances, and thermostats.
- Ensure the front desk and lobby area remain clean and orderly.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of Telluride and the surrounding area to recommend and promote additional activities and services.
- Effectively communicate with housekeeping and maintenance staff regarding room conditions and statuses.
- Conduct post-departure guest follow-up to build relationships that encourage repeat bookings and referrals, and manage lodging reservations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Education: High School diploma required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of one year in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (email).
- Flexible work schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong understanding of guest service needs, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to maintain concentration and effectively solve problems.
- Capability to work cohesively with co-workers in a team environment.

- Attention to detail.
- Polite and patient demeanor.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to ascend and descend stairs, and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.
