RN Nurse Supervisor Inpatient Behavioral Health Per Diem

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Supervisor to join our Behavioral Health team at Northbrook Behavioral Health Hospital for a minimum of 3 per diem shifts per month. The shifts could be M-F 11pm - 7am, or Sat/Sun 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm, or 11pm - 7am. As a Nurse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of our inpatient behavioral health services. Your exceptional leadership skills, clinical expertise, and passion for providing high-quality care will enable you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Clinical Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Staff Management: Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing ongoing coaching, training, and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, and improve staff satisfaction.
• Communication: Foster open and effective communication among staff, patients, and families, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged in the patient's care.

Requirements:

• Experience in behavioral health required, inpatient experience preferred

• Supervisory experience preferred

• Current NJ RN licensure

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
