Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the environmental services department, including but not limited to housekeeping, laundry, and trash disposal.

• Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify and address any cleanliness or sanitation issues.

• Provide guidance, training, and feedback to environmental services staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental policies.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize disruptions to patient care.

• Maintain accurate records and reports related to environmental services, including but not limited to cleaning schedules, inventory management, and quality control initiatives.

• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the quality of care.
