Description
American Traveler seeks an inpatient Speech Language Pathologist with 2+ years of experience and expertise in video swallow studies and dysphagia management for a hospital-based role.
Details
- Inpatient setting located within the main hospital
- 13-week contract assignment
- 8-hour day shifts with no weekends or call required
- Performs video swallow studies, bedside swallow evaluations, and dysphagia management
- Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
Requirements
- Active Illinois SLP license required if applicable
- AHA-issued certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the specialty required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant setting experience required
- 2 professional references from similar experience (1-2 years) required for consideration
- Ability to float within scope to other like units
Additional Information
- Conduct video swallow studies and bedside swallow evaluations
- Manage and treat dysphagia in an inpatient hospital population
- Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions
- RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
