Position Overview
Sea West Enterprises Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our Specialty Construction Division. Working directly with the Division Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of highly specialized projects throughout the United States—including astronomical observatories and communication ground stations for government, educational, commercial, and high-profile research clients.

Essential Responsibilities
- Manage commercial and specialized construction projects from contract award through closeout.
- Assist the Division Manager with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and field execution.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, engineers, and field personnel, including out-of-state trade partners.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and contract compliance.
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.
- Review project plans, specifications, and engineering technical documents to ensure contract compliance.
- Attend project meetings with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Coordinate material procurement and equipment deliveries for local and remote out-of-state job sites.
- Conduct job site visits to monitor quality, safety, and project progress as required.
- Support successful project closeout, including punch lists, final documentation, and client turnover.
- Maintain strong, professional client relationships while representing the Company with integrity.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of project management experience in commercial construction for a General Contractor.
- Full-Cycle PM Knowledge: Proven track record managing commercial projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
- Technical Understanding: Strong grasp of construction processes including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, procurement, change orders, RFIs, and submittal workflows.
- Team Coordination: Experience managing multiple subcontractors, vendors, and remote/out-of-state project teams.
- Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Bluebeam; experience with Procore preferred.
- Problem Solving & Communication: Detail-oriented with strong follow-through, proactive issue resolution, and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
- Intrapreneurial Mindset: Drive to learn the technical nuances of observatories, communication stations, and specialized structures.
- Travel & Security / Compliance Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically for site visits, project meetings, and field coordination.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record approved under Company auto insurance.
- Valid identification acceptable for domestic air travel per TSA requirements.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation and obtain access authorization for military installations and secure federal facilities.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States with required verification documentation.
