Tier 1: Cake Decorator 1
Core Responsibilities

Tier 1: Cake Decorator 1
Core Responsibilities
- Ice and finish standard cakes per the company recipe
- Apply pre-made decorations (fruit, chocolate plaques, standard piping)
- Maintain cake case display — replenish, rotate, label
- Box and label cakes for whole-cake sales and pre-orders
- Clean and sanitize decorating station and tools
- Stock raw materials (fondant, fruit, cream)
Qualifications
- 0–1 year cake decorating or related food prep experience
- Steady hands, eye for visual symmetry
- Food Handler Certification (or within 30 days)
- Ability to follow precise visual specifications
- Basic English literacy for spec sheets and labels
- Comfortable on feet 7+ hours
Tier 2: Cake Decorator II
Core Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Execute custom cake orders — lettering, character drawings, color matching
- Handle pre-order pipeline for birthdays, weddings, corporate orders
- Train and quality-check Cake Decorator I work
- Communicate with customers for custom design clarification (phone/in-person)
- Track cake PAR and waste
- Backup for cake case stocking and FOH display merchandising
Qualifications
- 1–3 years cake decorating experience
- Portfolio of custom cake work (photo evidence)
- Food Handler Certification (required)
- Strong English for customer interaction
- Familiarity with seasonal/holiday cake programs
Experience:
- Cake decorating: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
- English (Preferred)
