Sales Support Representative (Flooring, Cabinetry, Countertop)

The Sales Support Associate provides administrative, pricing, quoting, product, and systems support to the sales and design teams. This is a non-selling support role focused on preparing bids and quotes, maintaining product and client programs, managing documentation, and ensuring accurate pricing and information. The role works closely with Account Managers, Design Studio teams, builders, and internal departments to support day-to-day sales operations and maintain accurate, consistent processes.

Essential Functions

Pricing & Bid Support

• Prepare bids and quotes using cost sheets, scopes of work, product programs, and market guidelines.
• Prepare custom pricing for models, residential construction, upgrades, and special projects.
• Perform basic cost and margin analysis.
• Prepare standard and upgrade product collateral based on builder requirements.

Product & Program Support

• Maintain product programs for flooring, countertops, wall tile, and window coverings.
• Maintain wall tile designs, product information, inventory, and client SharePoint portals.
• Configure design/quoting tools and maintain accurate product and pricing information.

Systems & Documentation

• Create and maintain community kickoff documents, ZBIDs, floor plans, forms, and other sales support materials in SAP and related systems.
• Maintain accurate records, templates, digital forms, and supporting documentation.
• Use Excel, Word, PDF, architectural, publishing, and other business systems to complete daily tasks.

Team & Customer Support

• Provide day-to-day support to Account Managers, Design Studio teams, and client contacts.
• Respond to questions and assist with resolving pricing, product, documentation, and system issues.
• Participate in customer-facing interactions as needed; this position does not have a sales quota or direct selling responsibility.
• Collaborate with teammates and assist during periods of high workload.

Training & Process Support

• Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
• Serve as a resource/SME for Sales Support processes and systems.
• Help develop and maintain SOPs, training materials, and process improvements.
• Mentor team members and promote consistency and accuracy.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of related administrative, pricing, sales support, construction, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and follow tasks through to completion.

Strongly Preferred

• Residential construction or interior finishes experience.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field.
• SAP experience.
• Knowledge of flooring, countertops, wall tile, window coverings, and/or installation processes.
• Experience with builder programs.

Physical Requirements

• Primarily sedentary office work requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use.

Work Environment

• Primarily an office environment with regular collaboration across sales, design, operations, builders, and internal teams.
