Facilities & Fleet Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Facilities & Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to oversee and direct the general upkeep of company vehicles, buildings, equipment, and property. This person will handle routine maintenance needs, identify issues, coordinate outside vendors when specialized repairs are required, and help keep the facility operating properly by directing garage and shop personnel accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee general maintenance and upkeep of the company vehicle fleet
• Coordinate and track major engine, body, and specialized vehicle repairs with outside vendors
• Monitor vehicle maintenance needs and help ensure repairs and routine services are completed through company fleet software
• Oversee general building maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed
• Become familiar with property equipment and systems, including generators, fuel pumps, air conditioning units, and other facility equipment
• Identify maintenance issues and determine when an outside contractor or service provider is needed
• Coordinate with landscaping, cleaning, and other outside vendors
• Perform or coordinate basic repairs and general maintenance throughout the property
• Maintain awareness of the condition of buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in facilities maintenance, property maintenance, fleet maintenance, or a similar hands-on role
• General mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic maintenance issues
• Comfortable working with outside vendors and coordinating repairs
• Familiarity with basic building systems and equipment
• Organized and able to keep track of multiple maintenance needs and priorities
• Ability to perform hands-on maintenance work as needed
• Bi-lingual preferred, English required
• Able to direct and oversee garage and shop crews to stay on task
