Job Description:
- Receive, inspect, and inventory incoming data center equipment, including servers, racks, switches, and cabling.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely move IT equipment and materials throughout warehouse and data center environments.
- Load, unload, stage, and transport equipment while following safety procedures.
- Track inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, and asset management tools.
- Prepare equipment for deployment, installation, and shipment.
- Coordinate with logistics, operations, and data center technicians to ensure timely delivery of hardware.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
- Follow OSHA safety standards and data center security protocols.
- Keep warehouse and staging areas organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (Sit-Down, Stand-Up, Reach Truck, or Cherry Picker, as applicable)
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or data center operations
- Knowledge of inventory control and shipping/receiving procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Familiarity with RF scanners, Microsoft Excel, and inventory management systems is a plus
