Bar Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bar Manager to oversee our daily bar operations, maintain exceptional guest service, and lead a talented team of bartenders and staff. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, curating beverage menus, ensuring compliance with alcohol safety laws, and driving overall bar profitability. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, deep beverage knowledge, and a commitment to creating an inviting experience for every guest.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bar operations to ensure efficient service and high standards of cleanliness.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders, barbacks, and floor service staff.
• Monitor beverage inventory levels, place orders, and manage vendor relationships to minimize waste and optimize profit margins.
• Design and update seasonal drink menus, cocktail recipes, and beverage promotions.
• Enforce strict compliance with local, state, and federal alcohol serving regulations and safety guidelines.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain excellent service standards.
• Track sales performance, manage bar budgets, and implement strategies to increase overall revenue.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working as a Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager, or Head Bartender.
• Strong knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, and mixology techniques.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid food handler and alcohol server certifications as required by law.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a high level of stress tolerance in a fast-paced environment.
