Location: Hitchcock, TX 77563

Pay: $20–$30/hr, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; Saturdays, approximately 6-hour shifts

Job Description

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist with a minimum of 3 years of machining experience. This position is ideal for a machinist with hands-on experience operating manual or CNC equipment who is comfortable working in a smaller shop environment and handling a variety of machining tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and/or CNC machining equipment.
• Set up machines and make necessary adjustments and edits.
• Perform machining work on a variety of machines and equipment.
• Read and follow technical information and machining requirements.
• Assist with fabrication and frame-related work as needed.
• Work independently while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Assist with a variety of shop duties and machining tasks as needed.
• Work extended hours and Saturdays as required by the schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of machining experience required.
• Experience with at least one of the following:
• • Manual Mill
  • Manual Lathe
  • CNC Lathe
  • CNC Mill
• Must be able to perform machine setups and make edits/adjustments.
• Must be willing to operate both manual and CNC equipment as needed.
• Must be comfortable working on a variety of machines in a smaller shop environment.
• Strong hands-on machining and fabrication skills required.
• CNC operators whose experience is limited to operating/button-pushing without setup experience will not be considered.

Schedule & Overtime

This position requires a significant amount of overtime, including extended weekday shifts and Saturday work.
