Corn Sorter - Now Hiring

Our client, an industry leader in agricultural production, is seeking a Corn Sorter to join their team. As a Corn Sorter, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring the quality and safety of corn products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Corn Sorter

Location: Tipton, IN

Pay Range:

Shift: Harvest hours run Monday - Sunday 6:00am to approximately 6:00pm, with staggered start times. Associates will have at least 1 day off per week. Overtime may be available based on team needs.

What's the Job?

• Safely sort corn, removing waste and discards to maintain product quality
• Identify and segregate off-type ears, moldy or immature ears, and crop debris
• Assist with re-husking and distribution of corn on conveyor belts
• Maintain cleanliness of work environment by sweeping and debris removal
• Follow all safety policies, wear appropriate PPE, and report safety concerns

What's Needed?

• Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse stairs as needed
• Good eyesight and reliable transportation
• Clear communication skills in English
• Ability to work safely and follow safety procedures
• Willingness to work in dusty environments and handle allergens like corn dust
