• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

• Minimum 1 year of roofing demolition experience required.
• Previous roofing, construction, demolition, or general labor experience preferred.
• Experience using hand and power tools preferred.
• Knowledge of roofing safety practices is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required.

• Remove existing roofing systems, including membrane roofing, insulation, gravel, and related materials.
• Use hand tools and power tools to tear off and remove roofing materials.
• Load, unload, and transport roofing materials and debris.
• Assist with roof surface preparation for new roofing installation.
• Operate wheelbarrows, shovels, brooms, and other roofing equipment.
• Set up and break down safety barriers, ladders, and fall protection equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Follow all OSHA, company, and customer safety requirements.
• Assist roofing crews with installing insulation, vapor barriers, membranes, flashing, and sealants.
• Complete general labor duties as assigned by the foreman or supervisor.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and cold.
• Comfortable performing strenuous physical labor throughout the workday.
