Entegris is seeking aMaterialsQualityEngineerfor theUltra High Purity gas purification systems business in San Louis Obispo,CA.Your primary responsibilitywill be todeliver consistenthigh qualityraw materials to our manufacturingoperations.You willassess and manage supplier risk, performance, and improvement.You willimplement effective supplier corrective actions,assessproposedsupplychanges,anddrive continuous quality improvementstoensure a robustraw material supply chainfor Entegris and ourend-usecustomers.

You must be able to work with significant autonomy and independent judgementas part ofthe globalMaterialsQualityEngineeringorganization.Youwill have the interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships with bothour critical/strategic suppliersandinternal customersas youcollaboratewithProcurement, Operations, R&D,and Customer Quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolveincomingfabricated metal and electronicpartquality issuesby drivingsupplierqualityinvestigations.Implement effective corrective actionsto preventrecurrence.

• Analyse, synthesize, and summarize complex data sets to drive clear decision making and action with cross-functional groups.

• Lead projects to evaluate the technical risk of supplier notified changes(management of change)and execute implementation.

• Driveraw materialsupplierimprovementusingsupplier assessment/audits, scorecards,measurement systems analysis,control plan development,SPC,FMEA,continuous improvement projects, and six sigma projects.

• Develop andmaintainpart specifications, certificate of analysis acceptance criteria, analytical test methods, and quality documentation.

• Provide strategic technical solutions toclosematerial performance gaps and improve supply chain value for Entegris.

• Proactively assessandplan risk mitigationstrategies(business continuity planning) with procurement.

• Contribute to success ofnew product development(NPD)byevaluating newmaterials' capabilityandworking closely withthebusiness unit.

• Use clear and concise verbal and written communication with supplier contacts, internal stakeholders, and leadership.

• Establish andmaintainrelationships with technical external supplier contacts.

• Train suppliers on semiconductor industry quality expectations and key requirements.

• Build effective working relationships across thefactoryand company.

• Support Entegris ISO and customer maintenance audit activities.

Qualifications:

• Education -BSDegree in Chemical, Mechanical,Electrical,or Materials Engineering.

• Experience-Minimum3years' experiencework experience inchemical ormaterialsproduction environmentwithcore competency in manufacturing, quality, and/or production management.Six sigma knowledgepreferred.Experience within semiconductor industrya plus.

• Ability to travel up to 20% domestically or internationally.

• Abilitytoliftupto50 lbs.

• Communications- Skill in concise and clear verbal and written communications and experience with front line supplier and customer interactions.Ability to analyse, synthesize, and summarize complex data sets to drive clear decision making and action with cross-functional groups and leadership.

• Compensation: $114,000-$125,000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
