Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a cross-categorical caseload of approximately 7 high school students
  • Focus on delivering academic-based instruction and supporting mild self-regulation needs
  • Collaborate with support staff and families to implement effective IEPs
  • Encourage student independence and self-advocacy skills
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Valid certification in Special Education (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience working with high school populations preferred
  • Knowledge of cross-categorical teaching strategies
  • Skill in supporting academic and self-regulation goals
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities
