Qualifications & Desired Background:

• Certified in Special Education, with valid Arizona credentials
• Previous experience teaching special education in resource or traditional classroom settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to fostering inclusive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction to students with a range of needs and abilities
• Oversee and adapt curriculum to ensure accommodations and modifications are met
• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and parents to support student success
• Assess student progress, monitor data, and report on performance toward IEP goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing training sessions
