Occupational Therapist School Setting in Grambling, LA

Key Requirements & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Louisiana
• Prior experience in school-based OT settings preferred
• Capacity and willingness to supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and other service providers
• Proficiency in conducting and documenting PreK evaluations
• Adaptability for traveling between sites as needed (travel between four school sites required)
• Comfort providing services in-person (virtual options may be available temporarily)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to students on a part-time basis (20–25 hours per week)
• Serve four schools, providing therapy, implementing interventions, and monitoring progress
• Supervise and mentor a COTA as needed
• Perform PreK evaluations, primarily on Fridays
• Collaborate in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation and reporting
