Qualifications:

• Current Kansas SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working in a school environment is highly desirable
• Skill in managing caseloads for diverse age groups (elementary/middle school)
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
• Adept at adapting therapy activities for both in-person and virtual delivery

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy services to students in grades pre-K–8, depending on assignment
• Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
• Deliver direct therapy and consultation to assigned caseloads, ranging from 20 to 55 students across two schools (positions vary)
• Maintain accurate and timely records of services and student outcomes
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success
• Participate in school and team meetings as needed
• Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices
