Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Occupational Therapist license in Louisiana
• Experience or comfort delivering OT services in a school setting
• Willingness and ability to supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Effective communicator with teachers, parents, and administrators
• Organized and self-motivated, able to travel to multiple schools as needed

Position Details & Duties:

• Part-time schedule: 20-25 hours per week
• Direct OT services provided across four different school campuses
• Service delivery primarily on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; PreK evaluations conducted on Fridays
• Potential for virtual services while an onsite provider is being identified
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
• Monitor and document student progress, updating plans as required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
• Supervise activities of a COTA, providing mentorship and ensuring quality care
