Job Description
Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists seeking meaningful contract roles within a dynamic school setting. These positions, located on-site in Claremont, New Hampshire, allow you to support students’ communication and academic success while collaborating closely with a dedicated educational team.
Openings include one full-time (1.0 FTE) SLP responsible for comprehensive speech and language evaluations, as well as a part-time SLP role (up to 20 hours/month) focused on SLPA supervision, with the flexibility to provide additional speech-language services within the approved timeframe. Both positions require direct engagement with school staff, students, and families to facilitate positive educational outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and credentials valid for practice in New Hampshire
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Demonstrated experience with school-based evaluations, IEP development, and the supervision and support of SLPAs
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Familiarity with Medicaid documentation and processes in school settings is an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students as part of the IEP process
- Supervise up to 2.0 FTE SLPAs (for the part-time position), ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance
- Perform 30-day reviews for paraeducators delivering Medicaid-reimbursable services
- Provide direct therapy services within designated hours and as student needs arise
- Communicate and collaborate regularly with school professionals, staff, and family members to support student learning and progress
