Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy (PT) licensure for the state of Illinois
• Experience in school-based physical therapy services is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric and adolescent physical therapy needs
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt and tailor interventions to diverse student populations
• Enthusiastic, compassionate, and flexible approach to client care

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy sessions to students based on IEPs and referrals
• Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ physical functions and develop targeted intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each child’s educational experience
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans to ensure effective outcomes
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports as required by the school and state regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals as part of a multidisciplinary team
