Special Education Teacher - Boulder, Colorado

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of one year of classroom teaching experience, with a strong preference for special education backgrounds
• Ability to work well as part of a flexible, supportive educational team
• Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license, or actively in process (must provide proof for consideration)
• Commitment to inclusive practices, collaboration, and student-centered instruction
• Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability in dynamic settings

Your Role Will Include:

• Leading instruction and differentiated learning for 10 students with diverse needs in a well-resourced middle school classroom
• Collaborating closely with peer mentors, two full-time paraeducators, and support teams including BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, and School Psychology/Social Work professionals
• Creating, implementing, and monitoring IEPs to ensure individualized progress
• Maintaining ongoing communication with parents, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Promoting a positive, inclusive classroom culture
• Tracking progress and documenting outcomes to meet compliance and support growth
