Job Description

This is a full-time, contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year, where you’ll foster meaningful progress for a small class of students with dedicated resources and multidisciplinary support.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of one year of classroom teaching experience, with a strong preference for special education backgrounds
- Ability to work well as part of a flexible, supportive educational team
- Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license, or actively in process (must provide proof for consideration)
- Commitment to inclusive practices, collaboration, and student-centered instruction
- Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability in dynamic settings
Your Role Will Include:
- Leading instruction and differentiated learning for 10 students with diverse needs in a well-resourced middle school classroom
- Collaborating closely with peer mentors, two full-time paraeducators, and support teams including BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, and School Psychology/Social Work professionals
- Creating, implementing, and monitoring IEPs to ensure individualized progress
- Maintaining ongoing communication with parents, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Promoting a positive, inclusive classroom culture
- Tracking progress and documenting outcomes to meet compliance and support growth
