Work closely with K-12 students to make a real difference in their academic and personal success by providing vital psychological services in a supportive school environment. This full-time, contract opportunity near Trinity, NC, focuses on conducting evaluations, assessments, and collaborating with educators and families to foster student well-being.

Your expertise as a School Psychologist will offer critical insights that shape individualized education plans and support systems, ensuring students receive the assistance they need to thrive.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Previous experience with K-12 student populations is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of conducting psychological and educational assessments.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Familiarity with developing, implementing, and monitoring interventions and supports for students.
  • Compliance with state and federal guidelines related to school psychology practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments for K-12 students.
  • Interpret assessment results and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Develop intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth.
  • Maintain detailed, confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Promote mental health awareness and positive behavioral support strategies within the school setting.
