Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting student success as a school psychologist on a contract basis for the 2026–2027 school year. This role, starting in late August and running through mid-June, offers the chance to collaborate with educational staff, make a difference in students’ lives, and provide essential psychological services. Hours will be full-time at 37.5 per week, and you’ll have the opportunity to work with a varied caseload across age groups—the specific school assignments are to be determined.
Required skills and background:
- Holds a valid Washington School Psychologist license
- Experience or interest in K–12 settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to provide effective psychological evaluation, intervention, and consultation
- Adept at organizing and managing multiple student cases
- Committed to equity and inclusivity in student support
In this dynamic position, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and providing recommendations for student planning
- Consulting with teachers, staff, and families to foster healthy learning environments
- Creating intervention plans and monitoring student progress
- Participating in virtual team meetings and contributing to student support plans
- Maintaining thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school guidelines
