Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in students’ lives while advancing your expertise as a School Psychologist on a contract basis. In this dynamic school setting, you’ll collaborate with faculty, families, and educational professionals to foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment for all learners.
Your responsibilities will include conducting psychological and academic assessments, delivering direct and consultative services, and partnering with teachers and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). You’ll play a vital role in crisis intervention, behavior management, and working on multi-disciplinary teams to promote student success and well-being.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible School Psychologist certification or licensure
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and report-writing skills
- Proficiency with IEP processes, special education law, and RTI/MTSS frameworks
- Collaborative and communicative mindset to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse cultural and learning needs
- Dedication to ethical practice and continuing professional development
Key responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Provide counseling and behavioral interventions as needed
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Support implementation of preventive programs and teacher consultations
- Maintain accurate student records, reports, and documentation
- Advocate for students’ academic, social, and emotional growth
