Embark on an exciting opportunity working full-time as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year. This contract role focuses on supporting K-12 students with diverse needs and talents, allowing you to make a lasting impact while expanding your professional expertise. You'll enjoy a dynamic environment near the Peyton, CO area, collaborating with dedicated educational teams and engaging with students across all grade levels.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Colorado
  • School-based or pediatric OT experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in home health, teletherapy, and traditional school-based OT settings
  • Solid background working with fine and gross motor skills development
  • Understanding and experience in implementing IEPs and therapy plans for K-12 students
  • Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
  • COTA supervision experience in school settings is an asset

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct OT services for students in accordance with their IEPs
  • Deliver therapy in various formats, including one-on-one, group, and teletherapy sessions as needed
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support and advocate for students’ developmental goals
  • Document services, progress, and outcomes in compliance with school district and state requirements
  • Provide ongoing consultation and support to teachers and support staff regarding accommodations and strategies
  • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) where applicable
