Key Qualifications:
- Valid State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC required)
- Previous school-based experience, especially with early childhood and self-contained classrooms
- Proven ability to adapt therapy methods for diverse elementary caseloads
- Comfortable working exclusively onsite; remote or virtual work is not available for this position
- Strength in building rapport with both students and school staff
- Experience in early childhood centers considered a significant advantage
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-5 students using evidence-based approaches
- Assess, evaluate, and design individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to promote student success
- Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress, and compliance with school district guidelines
- Support and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
