School-Based Physical Therapist - Holley, NY

Step into a rewarding opportunity to support students’ physical development throughout the full school year in a part-time, contract role. Working with K-12 students, you will provide essential physical therapy services to help them reach their fullest potential academically and physically. This assignment offers 15-20 hours per week, beginning September 8th, 2026, and continues through the end of the school year.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in New York State
• Experience or strong interest in providing physical therapy within school settings
• Comfort working with a diverse range of K-12 students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to provide individualized and group therapy sessions
• Commitment to promoting student growth and functional independence

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver therapeutic interventions directly to students in line with IEPs
• Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families for coordinated care
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress
• Support student participation in classroom and school activities
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and participate in educational initiatives as needed
