Pharmacist - Phoenix, AZ

An independent compounding pharmacy in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an experienced pharmacist to manage daily operations with the unique opportunity to transition into ownership. This role offers a 3-month contract-to-hire assignment, ideal for a pharmacist motivated by leadership and business growth in an independent pharmacy setting.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead pharmacy operations including staff management and workflow oversight
• Supervise compounding processes and inventory control
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Cultivate strong relationships with patients and prescribers
• Drive business growth and enhance operational performance
• Potentially assume the role of Pharmacist-in-Charge

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Arizona pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Proven leadership and strong communication skills
• Experience in compounding and independent pharmacy settings preferred
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine interest in pharmacy ownership

This position features a manageable script volume of under 100 per day and works closely with a small team consisting of one compounding technician and one retail technician, utilizing the PioneerRx system.
