Job Description
Take on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students with your expertise in occupational therapy. This part-time assignment is available immediately and provides crucial leave coverage to help maintain continuity of services for young learners. You’ll work four days per week as part of a dedicated school-based team, making a meaningful difference in the daily lives of students. While the exact duration is still being finalized, coverage may be needed through the end of the month or the semester, offering flexibility and the chance to gain valuable schools-based experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted CDE license required
- Previous experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred
- Ability to support the therapeutic needs of elementary-age students
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Adaptability to changing schedules or caseload needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupation-based therapy services to elementary school students
- Plan, implement, and document individualized treatment interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student goals
- Contribute to IEP development and participate in team meetings
- Help foster a positive, supportive learning environment for all students
