Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
- Minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience in a classroom setting
- Must hold or be actively pursuing a Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license (cannot accept TEE)
- Ability to provide proof of CDE license or status documentation with your application
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with school staff, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services in alignment with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Manage a full-time schedule across two schools, serving approximately 25 students at each location (50 total)
- Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies to promote student success and participation in school activities
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and updates
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and required reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Engage collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and family members to foster a supportive learning environment
This position spans the academic year from mid-August through late May and is structured as a contract opportunity. Candidates will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across two school communities, working onsite exclusively.
