Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years recent CVOR experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical nursing best practices
• Detail-oriented with excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Collaborative approach and adaptability in fast-paced OR environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized nursing care to CVOR surgical patients before, during, and after procedures
• Scrub or circulate during cardiovascular surgeries, maintaining aseptic and safety protocols
• Monitor patient status and respond rapidly to changes in condition
• Work closely with surgical teams to anticipate and meet patient and surgeon needs
• Manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment per protocols
• Document care effectively and advocate for optimal outcomes
