Pharmacy Technician - Juneau, AK

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Support the optimization and maintenance of pharmacy information systems to streamline medication management processes.
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy staff, clinicians, and IT professionals to ensure accurate and seamless system functionality across electronic health records (EHRs), automated dispensing systems, and other medication management platforms.
• Assist with system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and data analysis to maintain high-quality operational standards.
• Conduct user training sessions to promote effective use of pharmacy technologies.
• Promote data integrity and support quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department.

Desired Experience:

• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician with a strong focus on informatics.
• Solid, hands-on experience working with Meditech pharmacy systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot system issues and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
