Occupational Therapist School Setting in Englewood, CO

Make a meaningful impact by providing occupational therapy services in an elementary school setting. This part-time contract opportunity requires an enthusiastic professional who can begin as soon as possible and support students during a leave coverage period. The exact duration is to be determined and may extend until the end of the month or possibly through the semester.

In this position, you’ll work four days per week with a diverse caseload of elementary students, helping them achieve their goals in a supportive, collaborative environment. You’ll play a key role in helping students develop vital skills and maximize their participation in the school community.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold an active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license
• Prior experience in a school-based OT role is preferred
• Ability to work effectively with elementary-age children and school staff
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and caseloads

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
• Develop creative, functional interventions that support student access and participation
• Maintain thorough documentation for service delivery and student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings when appropriate and contribute to student planning
