Occupational Therapist School Setting - Mount Gilead, OH

Here’s an opportunity for a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist who enjoys working with young learners and making a meaningful difference in school environments. This contract role, set to begin on 8/24/2026 and conclude on 10/7/2026, allows you to engage with students from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade in a supportive and collaborative setting near Mount Gilead, OH. You’ll work two days each week, focusing your expertise on a well-defined and manageable caseload—helping Pk-3 students thrive and providing insightful consultation to eight students in the K-5 group.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Ohio
• Prior experience in school settings, particularly with elementary age children
• Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• Flexibility to adapt interventions to various developmental needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized intervention plans for students in pre-kindergarten through third grade
• Conduct collaborative consultations for K-5 students, working closely with educators to support overall student success
• Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services in classroom and pull-out settings
• Maintain clear and timely records of student progress and therapy sessions
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
