Occupational Therapist School Setting in Littleton, CO

Bring your expertise in school-based occupational therapy to students across a dynamic K-12 environment in the Denver area. As a full-time occupational therapist on a contract basis, you’ll provide essential leave coverage, ensuring continuity of care for students of varying ages and needs. With a Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week, you’ll work onsite, collaborating with school staff to help students achieve their maximum potential in academic and daily living skills.

What you’ll bring:

• Active Colorado Department of Education Occupational Therapist certification (birth through age 21)
• Proven experience or strong interest in providing occupational therapy within school settings
• Understanding of K-12 student development, with the flexibility to adapt to varying age groups and abilities
• Commitment to onsite work and a collaborative approach within multidisciplinary teams
• Proactive completion of background check requirements before commencing the role

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students in accordance with IEPs and best practices
• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with educators and families to support students’ functional outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and district guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development as needed
• Support students across different campuses as assigned
