An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a tangible difference in students’ lives through in-person services. This contract position focuses on serving two motivated students attending a specialized program. You’ll have the flexibility to coordinate your schedule and provide targeted, meaningful speech therapy in a supportive educational environment. Your expertise will support these students in reaching their full communication potential.

Requirements & Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP licensure for the state of Ohio
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Solid experience working within school settings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable to student needs
  • Commitment to providing in-person services—virtual delivery is not an option
  • Ability to efficiently document sessions and progress

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver direct speech therapy to two students:
    • Student A: 80 minutes per month of individualized services
    • Student B: 200 minutes per month, consisting of two 25-minute sessions weekly
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop personalized therapy plans according to each student’s IEP
  • Monitor progress, adjust interventions as necessary, and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families, fostering a supportive learning environment
  • Manage service delivery flexibly, with adaptability in both days and times, ensuring students’ needs are met
