Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Retail Pharmacist in Charge opportunity is available in Prophetstown, IL, on a contract-to-hire basis with a 13-week initial term. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Supervise, train, and manage pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians.
• Review and verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
• Manage medication inventory, controlled substances, and pharmacy documentation.
• Develop and enforce pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality assurance protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve medication-related issues and promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant workflow within the pharmacy environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in Illinois.
• Experience in management or serving as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with McKesson Enterprise software is a plus.
