Job Description

This full-time, onsite role focuses on providing crucial school psychological services throughout the 26/27 school year. You'll play an essential role for a caseload that is evaluation-heavy, working collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure each student receives the support they need.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a current Michigan Educator Certification for School Psychologists
- Active credentials required (pending certifications will not be considered)
- Experience conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues
- In-depth knowledge of state and federal special education laws and best practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough psychoeducational assessments to determine students' needs and eligibility for special education services
- Analyze data and develop clear reports to support educational planning and interventions
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings; contribute expertise to IEP planning and implementation
- Provide consultative support to teachers and staff regarding accommodations, interventions, and behavioral strategies
- Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with families to promote positive educational and emotional outcomes for students
