Job Description

This contract role offers the chance to make a tangible impact while enjoying a flexible, part-time schedule. Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant—if you are a COTA, supervision is available.
You’ll work 28 hours per week with the possibility to combine with two additional roles nearby in Dayton (24 and 16 hours respectively) if you’re seeking a fuller schedule.
Key Qualifications:
- Active state license as an Occupational Therapist, or COTA (with supervision available)
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management abilities
- Passion for helping students achieve their academic and functional goals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to foster a supportive educational environment
- Deliver direct therapy services tailored to students’ individual needs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary approach
- Maintain compliance with all district and state regulations
