Opportunity is available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) eager to work on-site, supporting young learners and contributing to their educational growth. Full-time contract roles are available through June 2027, working with dynamic teams and diverse caseloads.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC required)
- Recent direct school-based SLP experience is essential
- Comfort working in multiple school settings; familiarity with self-contained and early childhood environments is highly desirable
- Flexibility to serve at both elementary and secondary campuses (assignments may require splitting time between campuses)
- Commitment to on-site presence; remote or virtual work is not available for this role
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Directly assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders, tailoring interventions to promote success in the classroom
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators
- Provide ongoing progress monitoring, data collection, and documentation to ensure compliance and optimize student outcomes
- Consult with teachers and staff, offering practical strategies to support students’ communication needs throughout the school day
- Build positive relationships within multiple campus communities, adapting to varied student populations and needs
