This full-time assignment (37.5 hours per week, including 2.5 hours of unpaid lunches) places you as a Transitions Intensive Teacher for 18 to 21-year-old special education students within a supportive educational setting. Engage with a manageable caseload and help shape students’ futures by building job readiness and independence both in the classroom and the community. Qualifications:
- Active CDE license or proof of licensure in process required (interview contingent on documentation)
- Minimum of one year classroom experience
- Flexible team player mindset
- Experience in special education classrooms preferred
Responsibilities:
- Lead instruction for a caseload of 12 students (ages 18-21) focusing on job readiness and independence
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction both onsite and in the community
- Create, implement, and monitor IEPs and BSPs
- Collect and analyze student data to inform instructional decisions
